Primary Curriculum Review

Welcome to the ONLINE QCDA area

Following the recent public consultation by QCDA on the review by Sir Jim Rose, the Government announced a new primary curriculum from September 2011 on 19 November. You can read the full announcement and access the new primary curriculum at www.dcsf.gov.uk/newprimarycurriculum/

Until the new primary curriculum website is launched, this webspace is here to help us all to continue the valuable conversations that have been a feature of the review. This site will be used by us to communicate with you as the renewed primary curriculum begins to take shape. It's also a space for you to communicate with each other, and with us.

We have started some blog posts based on the feedback and comments you gave us at the conferences, focus groups or consultation surveys, but please feel free to post your own comments. Click on the blog tab to register.

Curriculum reform consultation

The public consultation on the primary curriculum proposals finished on 24 July. The site www.qcda.gov.uk/curriculumconsultation offered you the opportunity to download the primary curriculum materials, view the interactive guide and tell us what you think.

Although the consultation is now closed you can still access the materials and tell us what you are planning to do with them.
